Yes, that’s right!
Rihanna, the all-time goddess, who I loved (and even had a small crush on) for years is bringing you the Fenty Beauty University. It’s digital and free!
Over a three weeks period, you can learn from Hector Espinal and Priscilla Ono, who are behind the Fenty Beauty concept from the comfort of your own home. Make sure you take notes, as the how-to videos are full of tips and tricks to achieve that Rihanna look for all faces.
A quick history lesson from their website – the concept behind Fenty Beauty is born from the need to fill in ‘a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones’ and is focused on ‘a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades’.- Beautiful, right?
Well, the University classes ore online – in line with social distancing requirements – and will be focused on:
- Week 1 – Covering all the bases (if you know, you know)
- Week 2 – All eyez on me (finally learning how to do that sleek natural makeup, as they call it)
- Week 3 – Perfecting your pout (because it’s all about those lips)
If you were absent from the first class, you can still do your homework by accessing this link.
If you are still not sold, let me give you some specifics. Fenty Beauty is 100% cruelty-free, which of course, means that no cute bunnies or any other beautiful creatures have been used in testing their product. There are around 40 foundation shades, as it focuses on inclusivity and the whole concept is about making beauty products available to all skin types.
During this uni term, they will be releasing mystery boxes on their website with back-to-basics products.
And… have I mentioned how you get all this precious knowledge for free? They even do a men version!
Head over to their Youtube channel and have fun – you will thank me later!
