Do you ever get a suggested playlist from Spotify with a title like ‘Songs For Down Days’ or ‘Classics For Crying’, the subtext quite obviously being ‘you ok hun?’. These playlists definitely have their place – after all, we all need a soundtrack for those times when life is just absolutely battering us.
Then there are the playlists you stick on when you’ve reincarnated back into the bad bitch who doesn’t text her ex, doesn’t let a Karen tell her how to do her job, and most definitely does not let how well her jeans fit dictate her mood for the day (if you’ve engaged Bad Bitch mode, this post might be more up your street).
But in between both these stages in the process, is the midway point where you know bad bitchdom is on the horizon. You really want to reach it, but you also know that one minor inconvenience could send you back over the edge. The ‘Picking Yourself Up Stage’ if you will.
