Queen of the jungle, Queen of the tabloids
If you spent the last 3 weeks of your life like the rest of us watching I’m a Celebrity, it’ll come as no surprise to you that Jacqueline Josa was crowned Queen of the Jungle. The mum of two won over the nation with her down to earth and relatable personality. For me, Jacqueline was a fantastic contestant as showed the signs of a winner from the very beginning.
The tabloids have been plastered with snaps of the Queen of the Jungles every move since leaving the Jungle. Trip to the pool, what she ate for lunch, conversations with other campmates and especially her very noticeable weight loss. The paps have left no stone unturned… However – It’s not all been positive press, her husband Dan Osbourne, ex-TOWIE star stolen a significant proportion of the limelight with yet another cheating scandal.
Jacqueline and Dan have been married since June 2017 and are parents to Ella, four and Mia, 18 months. Although they have been together for five years, their relationship has been littered with extensive cheating claims. Amidst the claims, the strained couple have been putting on a united front in front of the cameras and whilst enjoying the luxurious Versace hotel in Australias’, Gold Coast.
Accompanied by her parents, Jacqueline has recently been seen chatting with campmate and now good friend Myles and also going for a leisurely walk with her parents – both minus Dan. As Jacqueline and her parents strolled around the Gold Coast, they looked deep in conversation yet all in high spirits. Jossa’s mum has shared various posts across social media congratulating the daughter of her win but none of which feature husband, Daniel.
In her interview with Ant and Dec moments before she was crowned by Emily Attack, Jacqueline touched on how the show has changed her life, has made her re-evaluate criticism from others and has overall made transformed her into a much stronger person. She referred to herself as a “doormat” which made fans take to Twitter to defend the Eastenders actress. She mentioned how she’ll be leaving the jungle a different person to the one she went in and thanked viewers for their support. She said, “You don’t know how much this means, I love my family so much, I love Daniel, I love my kids, I love my mum, dad, sisters I love you so much.”
Daniel also took to Twitter to congratulate his wife on her win and how it felt so good to be waking up to her this morning.
Jacqueline is the first I’m A Celeb winner to cancel her interviews since leaving the jungle. It was announced by Lorraine Kelly that Jac was not doing any interviews as many winners have done in the past. “I know she’s not doing interviews – I hope she’s having a bubble bath!’ Lorraine joked. However, it has been reported that she has gone ahead with filming for ITV’s official “Coming out” show and I’m sure we are all very excited to see her back on our screens.
