I don’t know about anybody else, but I am obsessed with the looks from this year’s Golden Globes.
This year more so than ever.
Even before the awards have been announced I am googling how I can possibly make my hair look anything like Reece Witherspoon’s ultra-smooth bob.
Here are just a few of my favourite looks this year:
The ultimate queen of style she really can do no wrong. Styled in a head turning Valentino gown she accessorised with gold and emerald jewellery.
Channelling ‘Maid in Manhattan’ vibes with her plaited updo she kept her makeup ultra-soft with glowy skin and a nude lip.
For a glow just like JLO try Loreal cherie glow under your foundation.
Not only am I obsessed with Reece’s bob, but her makeup was although understated somehow managed to be super sultry. Copper eyeshadow and lots of liner, this look ties in well with her platinum tresses.
Looking to try out copper shades this Winter?
Try Huda Beauty or Morphe and stick to three different copper shades layered to complete this look.
Reece combined her stunning make up look with a beautiful one shoulder gown designed by Roland Mouret and accessorised with simple Tiffany and Co jewellery.
I am obsessed with this look! I love how Lucy wasn’t afraid to be daring. Combining her metallic foiled Louis Vuitton dress, her glitter eyes combined with her seventies style liner is a look I predict we will be seeing a lot this year.
Try it for yourself with Urban Decay Heavy metal liner.
Liverpool’s very own Jodie Comer did what she does best, ultra-sleek, super modern with a pink lip. Combined with a shimmer grey eyeshadow she looked the ultimate Hollywood glam.
Her floor length emerald Mary Katrantzou gown looked stunning paired with neon accessories.
Looking for a perfect pink lip?
Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury is the pink that suits all skin tones.
The ultimate Hollywood dream, Jane paired her flowing curls with a strapless printed dress with a crimson red lip.
Is there anything that screams Hollywood siren like a red lip?
Ruby Woo from Mac Cosmetics is my go-to red shade for any occasion.
And finally, …
Wow. Wearing a super slinky metallic cami dress designed by Laquan Smith she demanded attention with the ultimate thigh high split.
Metallic navy eyeshadow topped with a cobalt blue liner against her skin tone and luscious locks, her style and beauty really shone through as one of my favourites for this year.
If you’re looking to recreate this look head over to NYX and try one of their Vivid Brights liner, it really can change your whole make-up look.
