This week I have had the delight of not only chatting to House 21’s award-nominated blogger Lizzi Richardson for the most recent podcast episode, but I have also received her new online mag, Lizzi’s Autumn Style Notes. If my lockdown 2.0 wardrobe is anything to go by, I was in much need of some serious style inspo… a generous dose of Lizzi and her fashion wisdom was just the ticket!
The Autumn Style Notes magazine is Lizzi‘s first edition of a project which she is launching to further help and inspire those who follow her for her fashion prowess. Since launching her blog, Loved By Lizzi, she has garnered a loyal and ever growing audience which boasts an impressive 10,000+ followers on Instagram alone. Those who paw over Lizzi’s grid and blog, keenly anticipating her latest style choices and fashion tips, will not be disappointed as this style-focussed magazine is jampacked with ways to shake up any wardrobe.
This edition is, however, about so much more than Lizzi’s own style choices. The influencer gives details of what is hot on the High Street right now, as well as wardrobe management tips and she even interviews a fashion industry insider. Loved By Lizzi’s existing readers will be pleasantly surprised by the addition of some beauty tips to accompany the fashion content. In a year where access to beauty treatments has been intermittent these tricks, as tried and tested by Lizzi, could not be more welcome especially if – like me – you are two weeks deep into lockdown with a monobrow pending.
Listeners of the House 21 podcast will know that in this week’s episode Lizzi and I deep dive into the industry of pre-owned clothing. I put my hands up and admit that I could do much better when it comes to buying secondhand style pieces and Lizzi schools me on how to fund new pieces for your wardrobe by selling current clothes. This is a topic Lizzie explores in the magazine also. I’m not sure where I think I will be going this winter, what with all of the lockdown restrictions that are currently popping up and down across the country, however if there is one thing I will treat myself to this year, it is a new Christmas dress. Readers of my previous posts will know that I love an investment piece, especially when it comes to dresses, but investment pieces need some moolah. So, my Sunday afternoon project this weekend is going to be to follow Lizzi’s guide and see which items in my wardrobe I can shift.
If you need to add a bit of oomph to your autumn wardrobe but could do with inspo from someone who knows the fashion world inside out, then head over to Loved By Lizzi to grab yourself a copy of her Autumn Style Notes. Don’t forget to use House 21’s exclusive discount code House21 to bag yourself a 21% discount.
Well done to Lizzi on the first edition of what is sure to be a firm fashion favourite.
