My foray into the world of fashion probably began when I stumbled onto Olivia’s pics on Pinterest many years ago. Up until that point I really didn’t have any style I could call my own. When I saw the pieces she put together, different colours meshing with different fabrics, I began to see fashion in a completely different light. I know that rule number one of fashion is to learn to dress to YOUR body shape, and there’s no chance in hell am I suddenly going to grow legs as long as her’s, but it still hasn’t stopped me copying many of her looks. A few of my favourites of her’s are the leopard print skirt she rocks as a casual look, the snake print heels she pairs with an all white dress (whilst walking her dog!), and finally the classic white shirt/ jeans combo made glam by the delicious red heels. Has this woman ever committed a fashion faux pas?
I have been a fan of Miranda’s from long before she was even married to Orlando Bloom. I love her simple, chic and classy staples that finish her look and make her style stand out in a world where fashions become blurred between simple and understated to OTT and garish.
I often find myself checking out her styles for my work wear inspo, as well as her off days/ casual outfits because let’s be honest, it’s not like I have high profile evening events lined up. My life is literally work then errands (yes, I know boring and dull but a girl’s gotta make a living).
How dare I leave Audrey down the list as third, she should be on the top because yes, she is the Godmother of simple chic fashion – the style I know and love the most. The pieces from Miranda and Olivia’s looks all originate from Audrey’s style. From the flat pumps, to the simple one piece items, I just adore her effortless fashion and will forever continue to scavenge as many Audrey inspired items as I can.
