Following on from the first week of Camp NaNoWriMo, the start of the second week was a slow one when it came to trying to reach my word count target. However, there has been a lot of success, interesting twists in the story, along with illness and my birthday. This has all led to a very interesting and yet productive second week of NaNoWriMo.
I am struggling to comprehend that its already the second week of July and with that the second week of Camp NaNoWriMo. At this point I was hoping to be over one hundred pages in, yet due to life getting in the way I have only managed to reach thirty. This week started okay and I was managing to get three pages to four pages in per day which compared to last week has doubled. So this set me off on a roll for the rest of the week. This then peaked further on Wednesday as I managed to write five to six pages which was a great improvement.
With this momentum I though that the rest of the week would be successful and that I would be able to catch up on my word count, however life likes to throw in curve balls . On Thursday I started to become ill and with that your mind can’t focus properly which meant I only managed to write three lines the whole day. This was only the start of the decline of progress, as on Friday, Saturday and Sunday( because it was my birthday), I didn’t write anything at all, which is worrying. Yet I am hoping this break will be good in the long run, as I am coming back with more ideas. Which will hopefully make week three an even more exciting a progressive week.
